Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Man, does no one like long hair anymore?

::raises hand:: I won't have my hair so short that I can't get it all into a ponytail (and long enough so it stays there). I no likey my hair short, although I likey other people's short hair just fine.

This day is moving too slowly. ::kicks day::

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Now that I've gone short, my hair feels too long if I can pull it back into a ponytail.

This day is moving too slowly.

This representative from the west coast agrees.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Hubby. He can admit that a short cut makes someone look cute, but he always modifies it with "Long hair would look better." I had to get pretty militant to make him stop grousing when I got my hair cut. Which it's due for in another month. No more summers with thick hair covering my neck.

Mostly lurking...

Crap. I missed a fasting bloodwork appointment this morning. For the second time.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Yay for movie night, Raq! I'm trying to get DH to see 300, but so far he's disinterested, even with Matt's Frazetta-come-to-life description.

Making a baby laugh for five minutes is definitely life-enhancing. One reason I kept functioning with two under two was that StY had, at four to eight months-ish, a dirty old man laugh that we would do anything to elicit from him. I wish I'd recorded it (He still does it, but coming from an adult, somehow not the same).

The fearsome pirate Owen Greenboots, cutie Driver Liv, and almost-two Heartbreaker Lilybean are awesome in their cuteness.

I'm an ass gal, and damn it, you cannot perv with the fucking ass burqa jeans in place.

And so say we all!

I'm letting my hair grow a bit. If it gets back to the length it was last May in SF, I think maybe another stylist can do something with it. I really like the haircutter I've been seeing. She does what I tell her, literally, and I need someone who groks more where I'm aiming than exactly what I'm saying, if you know what I mean, and she obviously doesn't.

But Aimee's hair is gorgeous--well, Aimee is gorgeous anyway, so that haircut suits her perfectly.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Aimee looks great, and Lillian could kill with the cute at a 1,000 paces. I've been growing out my hair at the suggestion of my friend the hair stylist, but I'm about to revolt. I just have to do so much more work to avoid looking like Cousin It.

Having work done on your house makes you make way too many decisions. Now I'm on deck color: [link] I want a little stain, because the wood is painfully new. My house is old red brick with some gray siding and white trim. I'm thinking of also going with gray on the deck. I'm tired of deciding things.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Plei! She's beautiful. I always forget that you and K were pregnant around the same time.

I like to keep my hair longish. Not down to shoulder blades, but def. past my shoulders.

Art Crawl!!!

Man, I can't believe she's 23 months! Unpossible.
