There's more than one way to skin a cat. And I happen to know that's factually true.

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

After seeing the Taj Mahal, we spent the night in Agra and then got up bright and early the next morning to go to Fatehpur Sikri.

eta ...weirdly, the interpipe has eaten most of my post.

Huh. I find myself grumpy and disconsolate. The prospect of typing out the whole damn saga all over again is killing me. Gah. I'll tell you later, love.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Stoopid internet eating up what I am sure is a good story.

There is not enough gronk in the world this morning.

What is even happening?

It ate the post and yet double posted it. STUPID STUPID INTERPIPE.

Fay, when come back, bring boobs.

But, one thing to remember, sometimes these sorts of laws don't apply to landlords who have fewer than a certain number of units. If, for example, she's an owner who is renting out her condo, she may not be considered a "landlord" under the law.

sj, is it a condo, or an owner occupied 2 family, or what? I'm pretty sure that with owner occupied small places, the law pretty much lets the owner do what s/he wants. I really hope you can go after her, though. I'm gobsmacked by her brass. I'm glad you told her she was breaking the law.

Owner occupied two family, Cindy. I hope the law is on my side here, but we'll see.

TCG has an appointment to look at apartments tonight, while I already have plans to go out with Mom tonight and get two gifts for parties that we have coming up. I should feel guilty about this, but he is so much more easy going about all of this than I am, that it is probably better for both of us that he handles it for one night.

I hope so too, but it may not be. Landlords of owner-occupied two families are fairly protected, because it's not just income property, it's their home. I don't even think they have to give you a reason for refusal. I hope she gets some kind of comeuppance that opens her narrow little eyes. Sheeeeesh. I can't believe either the bigotry or her gall in being so open about it.

not your mom's socks.

no coffee in house this morning. this jarring discovery is nothing compared to hugely offensive asshat discrimination {sj} - but it is still somewhat crank-making.

No coffee in the house? Sox, you're home with a toddler. This cannot stand.

What Cindy said, Sox. At least I have my tea for comfort.
