Seriously, don't ask anyone to do anything until you talk to a lawyer
Of course not. I won't be contacting anyone directly. I will be calling a lawyer and probably the city's disability commission tomorrow.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

She's his client, which probably makes things more complicated, but it isn't just our word against hers.
Whether or not she's his client, he's all kinds of licensed and bonded and responsible for knowing the law in these things.

Excellent.
I realize that, and I marked your post (thank you). What I don't know is if I were to pursue it, what could happen to her?
I'm sorry if I sounded snappy. I'm just so angry with her. I can't stand people like that. I've seen people discriminate against hurricane victims, people on Section 8, and of course people who just don't conform to whatever standard of "the right people" are. Just this Saturday, I had a man in my class who had a major accident the result of which was a brain injury. He's clearly a normal functioning human. He speaks a little slowly and has seizures is all. After the class he was talking to the realtor I had speaking and the way he was treated by realtors, landlords, and some brokers was appalling. My realtor gave him the contact numbers for everyone he could possibly call on the assholes.
There's a reason why it's my rule #1 DON'T BE AN ASSHOLE!!!
Also what amych said. If on the agent's card it said REALTOR with a little trademark, they are all kinds of required to abide by codes and whatnot.
We interrupt this rant to wish the Empress, MM and the lovely princess, along with their animal entourage, safe journey.
All kinds of ~ma for the Miracleborns on their journey eastward. Safe, smooth travels and a lovely new life at the end of the road.
I got my interview set up for the position I really want. Now I have to wait a Whole Week until then. Patience? Not one of my virtues.
Interview~ma, ChiKat. I understand the patience thing - see my tagline.
Still kicking myself over that missed job op. I know the right thing will come along and if my program manager finds out I'm looking before I have found something, it can't be much uglier than it has been lately.

I love your tagline. And, I'm in good company with you and Nicole!
I am so sorry work has been so ugly for you lately. It shouldn't be like that. All kinds of ~ma headed your way on getting something else quickly.
(((Suzi))) Will it help if I tell you how lovely and awesome you are? They don't deserve you. A pox on them!
I just got a call from the 'Vine wondering where me and my boobs are, and an accusation that I'm the reason Golden State came back from a 20 point loss.
SJ--I am so THRILLED that you are going to contact a lawyer. That is absolutely horrendous behavior.
Even though today was frustrating (man, that would have been a great job), I did get an ego boost from some of the folks I talked with. I got lots of encouragment to pursue the job and they were excited about being able to work more closely with me. It made me realize that even those outside my project team know I have a lot to contribute.
How do people balance current job stuff while trying to find something else? I mean, here I am, set to go to DC to learn something fairly specific to the work I do now and yet I'm looking to move into something else. That seems deceptive, yet I have nothing in place yet, so I might as well make the most of the opportunities I do have...right?
