Anya: It's lovely! I wish it was mine! Oh like you weren't all thinking the same thing. Giles: I'm fairly certain I wasn't.

'The Killer In Me'

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

May she, in some freak accident, lose the ability to use her vulva.

Love the empress! The Federal Fair Housing Act makes it illegal to discriminate in housing based on your race or color, national origin (Hi Farmers Branch! I'm looking at you!), familial status, religion, disability, or gender.

Not just refusing to rent to you, but offering to you at a higher rate or different terms, etc.

What is even happening?

Aimee, may you, Joe, and Em have a safe, sane, and even fun trip back home to Michigan. Take care, dear.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Hey, sj, just in case you're interested, I have a friend in the Boston area who used to do apartment and job searches for a living -- he was part of an advocacy group that tested potential employers and landlords for violations of various civil rights laws. I don't know whether he still has contacts in that group, but I could ping him and ask if you'd like. He may have some specific suggestions for bringing down the wrath of a righteous God upon that bitchhead's head.

I mean, not that you'd want to rent from her now no matter what, but she deserves to suffer.

Yes, please. This woman is going to feel my wrath. TCG and I are both of the mind that she is not going to get away with this. I have no idea what my legal rights are in this instance.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

See above. It's against federal law.

I realize that, and I marked your post (thank you). What I don't know is if I were to pursue it, what could happen to her? Would she just have to agree to rent to us? Because I don't want to rent from her.

ETA: I don't want to rent from her anymore because she is a bitca. I did very much want this place before she answered the door and refused us entry.
