Tracy: Well-- That call -- That call means you just murdered me. Mal: No, son. You murdered yourself. I just carried the bullet a while.

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

{{Suzi}} you are icing and medicating, I hope.

Very angry on your behalf, sj. I don't care if you weren't supposed to be there (as far as they knew), how hard is it to knock, just in case? That's what civilized people do.

one of the deadliest weapons in West Baltimore can be purchased for $80 at Home Depot.

I don't know, you might need the $700 one. The Cadillac of nailguns [he meant Lexu but he don't know that].

Sorry about the adhering to the process blindness, Nora. That can be crazy making.

not your mom's socks.

Or a cat to the face.
That's about the funniest mental picture I've had all day.

so sorry sj!

I see you there erikaj with your Wired - yes, the Charm City politicians are so proud. It is an amazing show.

Has anyone 'fista side read 'Ink' or 'Vellum'? A relatively helpful bookstore demon helped me find a couple of new reads and they're all over the map... not that I mind - just curious.

and I just found out that the Buffy comics aren't two - they're a subscription. whoo-hoo. what an awesome friend. who just got a free CMS website designed, but still.

Nora - I apologize. I just pulled the Red Tape, you must do it this way regardless of logic, on one of my PM's. He is trying to weasle an exception to a process that is already an exception to the COMPANY STANDARD. So I treatened him with the COMPANY STANDARD.

I'm at work - no ice, need to fine some anti-inflammatory stuff. Home = vicodin and sleep. Between work and home - softball game.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Work is killing me. At least they gave me some Sprinkles cupcakes yesterday. It took the pain away for the 2 seconds it took me to gobble cupcake. Mmmm, cupcake.

well, it was a health care related referral thing. Why do you say if you don't have him on record then I can't get prescriptions when I have clearly gotten many?

You should ask in Literary, too.

There's a tech services tea party happening right now, with cookies and everything, and I am covering Reference so my staff can go. Do you think any of them will remember to bring me a cookie? ::sniff::

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Do you think any of them will remember to bring me a cookie? ::sniff::

My experience of librarians suggests that (a) yes, they will, because they remember stuff and have Notions about things like fairness and (b) if you hint that cookies make for good staff reviews, they really will.

Unless (c) they can blame it on the fact that TECH SERVICES EATED THEM ALL.

If they only knew about the memo I've been working on for the dean to have them reclassed at a higher salary level, they'd be baking me cakes!

Always Anti-fascist!

Yeah, right, it was expensive...I hadn't remembered that. Yeah, Sox, mos def. This is why people send me articles about violence and political incompetence and say "When I saw this, I thought of you." I'm not sure if that's touching or creepy. Both.
