When we landed here you said you needed a few days to get space worthy again and is there somethin' wrong with your bunk?

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Clearly, we need to invest in more bubble wrap. {{{delicate Bitches}}}

Y'know, when Hec and I were out walking on Friday, we went to a china shop with huuuuuuuge people sized rolls of bubble wrap outside. We thought of buffistas.

sj, I stand firmly behind connie on people just walking into the house. No, seriously, right behind her and out of swinging range.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

vw, I'm sorry you had to cancel spa day. Feel better, and best of luck getting your groceries delivered.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

sj, perhaps Gud could loan you Leif to make barricades? or you could booby-trap the door. Really - if they're not going to knock, they deserve whatever they get.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Now to figure out if I can order groceries without a debit card, since my new one hasn't come yet. I think Peapod has so you can set it up to come directly out of your checking account. Hopefully that is the case.

They actually give you a dollar off for that.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Matilda cracks me up with how utterly intent she is on the toe-munchy. No power in the verse can stop her!

In this, she is her mother's daughter.

Always Anti-fascist!

Nail gun, sj. "You can fuck{somebody} up with that and there's no recoil." Oh, and The Wire likes carrots.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Wait until three shampoos have passed. See if it fades into something reasonable first.
Oh, it's reasonable already. It is exactly the color of my hair. Which I guess I might as well just let it be for a while now. *sulk* I mean, I was coloring out of boredom, not need.

Psst, JZ: [link]
LOVE!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

My aunt on my father's side just called. She didn't say what she wanted on the message. It's probably just about my cousins upcoming wedding, but I really don't want to call her back right now. Someone tell me I don't have to.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

You don't have to.

It's been a busy morning here at Chez Miracleborn. Em off to school, Switch escaped and went under the building causing Joe to belly crawl under there and fetch him. I took Violet (the minivan) in for service and now Joe is carting boxes out to the garage. We need to find pallates and get shrink wrap so that we can prep the boxes for shipping. That guy from BGSU worked out. The names he gave me at the BGSU library were legit. I'm gonna call them this afternoon just to name check him. I Google'd him and he seems pretty cool. At least, no red flags went up.
