I don't give half a hump if you're innocent or not. So where does that put you?

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

'Scuse me. I've got Perc and a fuckload of endorphins roaming free in my bloodstream.
Dude.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I know. It's nice. Whoo!

No booze tonight, though. I'm not that dumb.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

No booze tonight, though. I'm not that dumb.

Biyi and I have just watched ep 4 of The West Wing, where the President comes into a staff meeting hopped up on painkillers. "Did you take the Vicodin or the Percocet?" "...I wasn't supposed to take 'em both?"

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

No booze tonight, though. I'm not that dumb.

See, I so would be.

I wasn't smart enough to take narcotics when I got my tattoo. Live and learn... Or a Xanax. My needle fear made it less than fun at times. But the endorphins were fun while they lasted.

Yay for Robin skating!

vw, I would follow up with the professor.

Yeah, I think I probably will.

Oh, vw, I can see doing that myself. Were the prof's comments otherwise pretty positive or did it seem like once he realised you were looking at the wrong story it didn't really matter what you had to say about it?

I’m not really sure. His comments seemed to be more about the prospectus I handed in with the tossed in bit about using the wrong story in a parenthetical statement. I really think I’m gonna fix the story and give him a new copy tomorrow at class.

Well, great, I think I have a fever again.

Poor askye. You just can’t seem to knock this thing out.

Sometimes, you can run a low fever with allergies.

Yes. This. I often do.

Oh, sj, that’s frustrating.

Yay for endorphins!

Timelies, Bitches.

Thrive to spite them

The Sabres won last night which was nice to see. Canucks didn't, but I didn't stay up for most of that game. Actually last night I dreamed I turned on the tv around 5:30 am and the Canucks were still playing, having moved into their 7th overtime and the game was tied 5-5. It was one of those dreams that seems real until weird dream like stuff keeps happening -- like I flipped the channel and flipped back and the game was over and they were doing the handshake line and the winning team was taking off their gear (helmets, gloves, etc) and throwing it to the crowd.

I also dreamed cops and Fred Thompson busted into my house to arrest me for pirating stuff of the Internet and I got shot in the ass by an overzealous rookie. I then drove my self to the hospital where I ended up on tv yelling that I hadn't done anything wrong and that "I only download stuff that you can't get on dvd and that's legal! Besides Fred Thompson burns books!"

Then I woke up all hot from being wrapped up in blankets. I feel crappy again today so I'm going to call the doctor and see if my symptoms match up with a sinus infection and hope that I can get on something to kill this so I'll feel well enough for next week.

Yes it was!

Besides Fred Thompson burns books!"

Wouldn't surprise me, exactly.

Feel better, askye!

I have to talk to that librarian who was AWOL yesterday and find out what the heck was going on. I may get to yell at my first employee today -- yay?

Feel better, askye. Sounds like calling the doctor is a good plan.

Good luck, Sparky!

Librarian Warlord

Good luck, Sparky!

Already done. I gave him a half pass since I'd nodded my agreement that he could go help a student with car trouble, but told him that when he knew she needed more than a jump start/ride over to the mechanic he should have drawn the line since it turned into a 3 hour errand that involved actually selling her car. (The student is one who works here in the library, thus her comfort in asking one of us for help, and my inclination to okay a little help.) I'll talk to the student later.
