[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What is even happening?

askye, what are your other symptoms? How long have you had the fever? How high is it?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I've got one, too.

As for calling your doctor, I'm no expert. I'll let some parental units and/or medical professionals weigh in.

If you happen to be Eliza Dushku, look for a corpse.

What if I just kill someone?

You won't have to look far.

Thrive to spite them

Yesterday I woke up congested, but everyone has had allergies and for some reason mine hadn't hit yet. Then yesterday afternoon I got chills and had fever, the highest it got was 100.8F (but my regular body temperature is low, more like 97.0/98). I slept most of yesterday after work.

This morning I woke up fine, but more congested, but no fever. Then about 2 pm I started getting chills again. I am dehydrated though, I've been thirsty all day (from mouth breathing) and not getting enough to drink.

Right now my fever is 99.8, but I don't feel as tired as I was yesterday.

In further tales of the missing sudafed, I just found the keys I lost two weeks ago. Still no sudafed.

askye, if you don't have any other symptoms, like sinus pressure or coughing up gunk, it's probably viral, so all you can really do is rest and drink plenty of liquids. You must get well, so you can have fun in Atlanta.

I wouldn't call the doctor. Sometimes, you can run a low fever with allergies. It's probably either that or a virus. Drink a lot of fluids. Take Ibuprofen or Tylenol and whatever other medicine you can take that you like (an antihistimine or decongestant -- if it's okay with your other meds, although they might make you more dry).

Poor Ginger. I've had a day like that today, too. No fun to feel like your brain's gone walkabout.

My brain has been on walkabout for some time. I really needed to find those keys, but at this rate, I'm going to find Jimmy Hoffa before I find those pills.

Ginger I hope you find the medicine soon!

Cindy thanks for the advice. I'm going to call it a night, eat something, take some WalBuprofin and curl up in bed with hockey. Go Sabres!
