Reavers ain't men. Or they forgot how to be. Now they're just nothing. They got out to the edge of the galaxy, to that place of nothing, and that's what they became.

Did you write the whole paper about the wrong story?

Yeah, basically. I got them mixed up and didn't re-read it to make sure it was the right story. So, I looked for quotes that worked with what I wanted to say and went with it. Yes, I really am that dumb.

or was going to give me a bad grade becuase of it.

See, that's the thing. He doesn't give a grade till the end of the semester, so I have no idea if fixing it will help or hurt.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

vw--I feel ya. I once wrote a 20-page paper on the state of England when Elizabeth I took the throne, instead of when she left because I misunderstood the assignment.

And he mentioned this in his comments back to you? I'd just go to him laughing and ask what he'd want me to do.

(Not exactly the same thing, but I once had my hands on the wrong keys for a chunk of a quote in an undergrad and still got an A. the teacher thought it was funny. This was before spell check existed obviously.)

Oh, dear, Robin. You poor thing! 20 pages! I think I'd die!

Hey, by the way, how are you feeling?

Oh and my aunt was taking Spanish & Italian in the same semester and was pretty proficient in both and ended up answering all in Spanish on her Italian final. Fortunately, again, the teacher thought it was hilarious and let her re-take.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

So, thanks to the heads up from my internet peeps, I've booked 2 flights to Columbus. 2 tickets for 2 flights, everything came to under $200.

not your mom's socks.

:: flop. ::

Too. Many. Meetings.

A couple of months ago the doctor had removed what he could see in the office, and this surgery was to get rid of the rest. However, the doctor forgot to take a picture at the first surgery...

holyshit. someone's doctor is following someone's grandfather's how-to guide for minimal customer service. Is G-DH ok? Bad doctor. No BMW.

VW - if your prof isn't giving any grades until the end of the semester, absolutely follow up. Laughing, yes.

Cute buffistababes! Love that! I need to shuffle out an Iris pic... ::looking::

I'm feeling pretty good, vw. I am going to try skating today for the first time. I had meant to go last week, but have been stuck late at work EVERY DAMN DAY. I have promised all and sundry to take it very gently at first, but I can't wait to get out there and roll, baby, roll!

vw, I would follow up with the professor.

Is G-DH ok?

G's DH is okay, but I guess G thought he could use the day out hiking to clear his head. I find it a little funny to think that to counter act a bad experience with the doctor for skin cancer they went out into the SoCal sunshine.

Speaking of which, I should really scan those pictures of our Grandfather, Aunt Maggie, Jane, Urban, and our fathers and their brothers as young men with cigars in hand surrounding our very shell-shocked looking Grandmother, because you don't have them, do you? They came to me with commentary written by my father.
