Now you can luxuriate in a nice jail cell, but if your hand touches metal, I swear by my pretty flowered bonnet, I will end you.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Come one, come all, to my LJ to play Name That Girl Scout Badge!!!

I found my Girl Scout uniform last night, and I seriously can't identify what some of the badges are for. Though apparently I went into outer space in the early 80s (you'll see).

Yes, I *could* look on the interbunny to find out what the badges are for, because there are undoubtedly many many MANY Web sites devoted to Girl Scout minutiae, but I'd rather see if anyone can identify the badges *without* assistance.

Behold: [link]

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I have no idea, but I'm just gonna guess that one badge is for "Sold a shitload of cookies."

eta: I should have known - a shitload of badges are for selling a shitload of cookies.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

You're right about the Horse Care badge. The horseback riding one has just a horse's head. I think the blocks have something to do with teaching. You have group sports right. Cat laying on the scrapbook: Crafting?

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

There was a story in the paper a while ago about an Eagle Scout who'd earned every single badge available. Impressive ... in a weird kind of way. He ended up sewing three sashes together to make room for them all.

edited to add, I have no idea about any of this - I lasted one month in Brownies.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Teppy, I linked you to the Girl Scouts site where they sell the badges.

I sewed Owen a Sock puppet this morning. I found a cheap kit at Half Price Books on Monday.

We're out of rainy day activities. We started drawing with markers. Moved on to playdoh (Olivia choked on a piece and barfed). When she went down for her nap, we sewed Dragon. Owen won't take him off now.

My mom was our brownie troop leader. We never got past the brownie stage (although we did go to camp one year).

Thrive to spite them

I got surprised by my co workers! They made me lunch -- veggie lasagna and chocolate cake! Which is a big deal since I'm the only one in the office that likes chocolate. Plus I got flowers and cards and another ballon.

I'm totally spoiled and now I don't have to worry about the lunch thing.

I can be no help with the badges, I wasn't in Brownies long enough to earn a badge.

Poor Olivia. I'll have to wait until I'm home to see Owen and Dragon (work blocks flickr).

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Now that Owen's hair has grown out, he looks like such a mod.

Hec, I'm loathe to cut it or have anyone else touch it. As long as it's no trouble and it's not in his eyes, I'm going to leave it alone. DH has muttered about the trimmers a few times.

I may submit later in the summer but for now, I just love the way it looks.

He's always been handsome but now he looks cool!
