He doesn't travel well. He's like fine shrimp.

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Whew. He's giving up and staying in a hotel tonight. As early as it is, I may need to just go to sleep soon myself.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

-t tons of travel~ma to your DH. Sorry that he is having such a sucky time of it.

Still no word back from the real estate agent for those of you who aren't sick of hearing about this. TCG called him when he got home, and the person that answered the phone said he would have him call us right back because he was on the other line. No call back.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Um, they are a legitimate real estate agency, right?

All is well that ends in pizza.

I remember when Andi first joined the board (was that before or after you met f2f? For some reason, I can't remember that part at all.)

Actually we both joined independently. Askye, Andi and I were a part of the Hellmouth Cafe chat room, and I at least, came over here at Askye's urging.

Yes, and they're the ones with all of the good listings in this area. The guy is terribly flighty. At this point, we're just asking for our deposit back, I think. Which is sad, because I really want that house.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

A-ha! I knew you knew askye before, but I didn't realize you knew Andi from the same place. I'm easily confused.

I didn't realize you knew Andi that long, Daniel. I think I thought you met when she delurked here.

Oh, that's too bad, sj. I really hope you can find a great place and fast and not through Mr. NoCall. Though if he's mpt calling because the owners aren't getting back to him, maybe yo are better off not there - a great place with sucky landlords still kind of sucks, ime.

I'm sure DH is none too pleased with this development - this trip was supposed to be get in, fix the thing, get out and he's stuck at "get in" - but I feel loads better now that he's come to a stop for the night. Left the house 14 hours ago, poor noodle, and hasn't had a real meal yet.

Have I said how much I love the Daniel/Andi love story? Cuz it's a lot. So if I have, I can say it again. Lots and lots.

I think we started the romance part only after becoming Buffistas.
