I'll be hitting the Chantilly, VA area the week of June 4-8th.
YAY! Also, insent.
Poor Owen and his tumbling tummy. Poor Cash and Owen's tumbling tummy.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

aw, sorry Cashmere. Poor Owen and Cash.
I'd rather be in the office. Any office. Even a boiling one.
Hmm. It's a difficult call to make.
{{{Cashmere and Owen}}} Do you think it could be something he's eating rather than a bug? It's weird that he was fine all day yesterday.
Poor Owen. Poor Cash...
Cass, have you tried warm/hot compresses across your face (forehead, eyes, nose)? or standing in a hot shower and letting the water run over your face? I've found it helps with sinus headaches ... and sometimes it clears out your sinuses for a little while. They really do help, just yesterday was brutal and the compresses only helped for basically the time I was doing it. The heaty pack thing was traveling from my face to the microwave to my neck to the microwave to my face to the microwave to my neck.
Today, I am going to try to keep ahead of it though.
And I forgot the steamy shower thing yesterday. Steamy showers are a godsend. Thanks for the reminder, Toddson.
Have coffee now.
I'm sorry for those suffering from the heat.
Isaac woke me at 5:30, Franny joined him around 6. Oy. I wish I were still asleep.
I am comforting myself about no longer being in San Francisco by setting a farewatch for DFW to SFO.
The Boy and I were talking the other day about coming out to SF....but not until the Folsom Street Fair. Which is at the end of September. Bah. Wanna go NOW.
Poor Nora. After about an hour in a 96-degree office, you'd have to mop me up off the floor and take me home in a bucket.
Also, poor Cash and Owen. I hope he's better soon.

I called the pediatrician. The nurse said it's not unusual for them to have a period of vomiting then have it clear up for a day and return with a virus. If it continues through Thursday, I'll have to take him in. I'm really hoping it doesn't go that long.
He's on the sofa watching Caillou. He's naked, natch.

I'm sorry. Much ~ma that no one else in the house gets it.
Just as I came in to work yesterday, they were putting the finishing touches on a new huge vent fan through the wall high above the helpdesk (About 20 ft up). The problem in the building has always been lack of circulation, the helpdesk swelters, the rest of the building gets cold.
Then they turned it on.

We sort of got used to it. Except that every new person on-shift had their own "What the hell?" moment.
At least they could have given us a switch, or a variety of settings.
Even I was cold after a bit, so it was doing the job, but HOWLHOWLHOWLHOWLHOWLOWLHOWLHOWLHOWL
