Dawn: I thought you were adequate. Giles: And the accolades keep pouring in. I'd best take my leave before my head swells any larger. Good night.

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Whenever you're ready! K says she has plenty of room and she promises the driveby was rare.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

You know, I said this about the robbery at the corner market that billytea, Debet and I saw but did they believe me? No.

I mean, show a guy some urban crime before he leaves the country...

There's still a lot of crime in NO, but mostly it sticks to the parts where there are fewer people. Since K's area of town didn't get much damage, and therefore most people were able to move back in, it's mostly ok except for the crack house a few blocks down.

The company I work for purchased some lots in the more damaged areas to rebuild, they're working on a lot swap so that they can move whole blocks in at the same time to make it safer.

Thanks. I think so too. I bitch about daily crap, but overall, I'm happy to be working for them. And the New Orleans staff are truly some amazing, dedicated people.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

That's a very cool company, DJ!

The real estate agent hasn't called me back and waiting to find out about this rental is driving me crazy. Someone distract me.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

no real distraction here. Just sort of once again amazed. I feel fine if I sit still, but anytime I tried to do anything, out of breath. I've sort of noticed this since saturday. Only today does it occur to me that this is asthma. and using my emergency inhaler might help. It has been three hours and guess what... more oxygen, more energy.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Oooooh, shitballs.

They're already sending girls for me to check out. One is an accountant in North Carolina, and the other is a respiratory therapist in Houston. I'm apparently supposed to start e-mailing them and see if I like them.

I'M NOT FUCKING READY TO GET FUCKING MARRIED.
