I'd rather stay home and watch television. It's often funnier than killing stuff.

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Mostly lurking...

I was in my jammies until my mom called to find out if I wanted to go get dinner. I decided that was a good plan and finally showered for the day.

Oooo...Sox, icky situation. Sparky is wise.

I had a caffeinated soda with dinner. That was dumb.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

When are you due, again?

June 10 - 7 weeks to go.

I just spent a very nice hour and a half catching up on Stargates after a very disappointing Mets game this afternoon. (They had one spectacular inning, but basically phoned in the rest of it. Bad Mets! No biscuit!)

EVERYONE NEEDS TO GO SEE HOT FUZZ IMMEDIATELY!

Yay!

Librarian Warlord

Wow, Jessica! It seems like the time has flown by from this end of the Internets.

Ginger, how's the vocalizing?

Sox, the other thing you can do is have a time certain when you leave. Announce that you have another meeting, Iris needs to be picked up, etc., etc., so you can keep things moving. An escape plan, for your own sanity.

Sail, have you escaped a workplace recently speaking of work and escapes?

What is even happening?

Sox, Sparky is wise, as you already know. And you know, bring a spork anyhow, just in case.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

June is an excellent month. I approve.

DH just asked "what if person-in-question is on the board?" when he heard I'd asked for buffista wisdom.
Does he know nothing about our spicy brains and general sparkliness?

As if the person-in-question would fit in here. (Dear person-in-question, If you are lurking? Sorry about that. Here, RTFHumanM. KThxBye! 'fistas)

Cindy! You have the bees tag!

I do. I tagged it the day I brought the story over to Natter.

If I didn't know better, that would be my story. I can't deal with famous people. I went into Boxed Set, saw CFerg had posted, got palpitations, and ran away. One time when Monique used to live out this way, she was going to take a bunch of us to a con where Nicholas Brendon was appearing. She runs his website, so there was a decent chance we might get to say hi to him. I couldn't deal, and couldn't go.

Sail, have you escaped a workplace recently speaking of work and escapes?

Almost. Next Friday is my last day. Whoohoo!

That story is just ... bees. I've had to explain it several people because "er ... bees" is now my default stammer.

Good lord, George Clooney is narrating a Budweiser commercial on my tv right now. I think I have bees.

not your mom's socks.

Ginger - I may just wear RTFM on my sleeve (thx to thinkgeekers who believe my wardrobe needs more black [! as if ... though I am 1 less pair of black boots...]). She wouldn't notice if I tattooed it on my forehead. It will be tucked under a jacket of some sort, instead. How's your voice?

DH is learning quickly about the spicy sparkliness and general brains. He's a good DH. Just knows that when I speak ill of someone, they're usually about to sit down at the next table.
