You'd never make it. I'd rip your spine out before you got half a step. Those little legs wouldn't be much good without one of those.

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Oooh -- plus, getting a cut is instant gratification -- people say "You got your hair cut! Pretty!" People never do that when you grow your hair, unless they haven't seen you for months and the last time they saw you your hair was super-short. (And if they aren't Hec, who I'm pretty sure has NEVER said, "Your hair is longer! Pretty!")

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Ditto!

Also long enough to be curly again, woot. Hec, shut it.

What? I like your curls.

If you scroll upthread you will find me saying that Aimee looks pretty good with a pageboy.

But, like you, I do think she rocks the short styles.

That's not the same as enthusiasm upon finding that some lovely lass has decided to grow her hair. You're very gallant with the compliments for the current state of things, but when a Hair Decision has to be made, I don't think I've ever heard you express happiness over the choice for more hair rather than less.

Which isn't a bad thing, really; it is what it is.

There have to be some constants in the unverse other than the speed of light.

Pfft. You'd like them more if they were on the floor, being swept into a -- what are those things called? The thingie, the plastic thingie that people sweep debris into? Anyway, if they were chopped off and being swept into one of those things, you'd like them more that way.
