Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

On conf call: Someone just said, "Another big but is..." and I started laughing. I couldn't help it!

Did you ask for a big but moratorium?

Mostly lurking...

Good luck, sj!

Librarian Warlord

I would give anything for a picture of CJ with Poppin Fresh.

He does have to walk home from school and if Suzi really loved us she'd figure out a way to get us the pic. ::sniff::

My DH has always claimed that if we had a child I would screw them up speech-wise as I constantly morph words, use my own rhyming slang and or flip syllables around (e.g., San Francisco is, in my world, Fran Sancisco). This is, possibly, why I can't spell, and why I'm a failure at word games like Scrabble and Boggle.

Owen is a creative little bugger, so I suspect he's working out a way to using language that will be entirely his own. {{Cash}}

edited, because I screwed up the words and their order

Yes, this.

Thanks, vw.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Thirding this. Oh and Suzi, I'm keeping my fingers crossed re: the work situation.

San Francisco is, in my world, Fran Sancisco

It's a spoonerism!

There's a tiny town called Sugar Bush near my home town. My Dad likes to pronounce it Booger Shush.

Oh, and when we would take driving vacations, my Dad liked to stop to look at the "hysterical markers."

I'm not sure what the point of this post is. I guess it's that my Dad rarely says "booger."

And I'll be in Pinole at a softball game with K-Bug. I did ask if he put a coat on Poppin Fresh. One of DH's would have fit.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed re: the work situation.

Thanks. Some things are moving in a positive direction. I have some higher ups fighting for me and pulling a few strings. I'm just waiting for the reaction from my program manager and contract manager (neither of whom I work for directly, I just work with them). They are both out today so, today is GOLDEN.

The status is NOT quo.

{{{{{Cashmere}}}}} What everyone else said. I will also put my educator hat on and say that a speech therapist is a wonderful help for many boys ages 2-5. I imagine you will start to see marked progress before you even know it. Still, stressy for you. Good thing you're such an incredible mom, or I might worry more.

Job~ma for Suzi!

SO jealous of the Daisyfest in SF. Hope you're having a wonderful time!

sj, definitely call the stylist. Good stylists want to know when something goes awry. You're wearing their business card on your head, after all. Also, sending you tons of apartment ~ma.

{{{{Aims}}}} Poor Punk! Poor Mom-of-Punk!

It really is nasty outside, but I know I've been here awhile because I'm really enjoying the rain. Rainy days are so rare here that I kind of miss them. Now and then.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Lee, insent.

{{{{Aims & Punk}}}}

Hec has collected Daisy and they are now running rampant through SF. I'm trying to list everything I need to do before my last day (OMGWTFBBQ!!!!) and am practicing massive avoidance.
