My DH ate bread and pizza and chicken, IOW, the usual. I had white anchovies, scallops, ceviche, lamb, gnocchi -- all sorts of forbidden tastes.
except that the sender cc:ed his boss and sounded SO superior in the email
I love it when idiots give themselves the proverbial wedgie in front of the whole class.
Laura, I love the 'tea house' google theme myself. A little fox critter goes about his day, doing chores, taking tea, visiting with his friends. At night, he sits on the dock of his little lake house and plays the mandolin. I've had the theme up for months and it still makes me smile.
Gronkies.
I'm back in my home state. At work. I should be able to avoid work drama until Monday, at least - both the two people who stabbed me in the back are out until then. AND I have permission to work from home next week if I feel they are "creating a hostile work environment".
But that is not what I came here to say. Last night I discovered that Southwest has Canadian Club. I also discovered that sharing a love of baseball, specifically A's baseball, with the flight attendent can equal free drinks. Ahhh, sweet alcoholic oblivion.

I'll have to try that one when I tire of the beach. Google rocks. Old song, but they do rock mightily.
Hey Suzi! You know it might help the hostile work environment if you brought Canadian Club to the office. I worked with a guy that put whiskey in his coffee. He was insane in many ways, but I don't think it was the booze.
I am now on coffee #2 and cookie #2, Canadian Club still at 0.
I like the way Laura thinks. Though, the working in pj's tucked in my bed has it's merits too. I have a big research project I need to do next week and if I can get copies of the reports to take home with me - I just might do that.
Working at home works great for me, but not at all for DH. I've given notice on the office space we are in to vacate at the end of August when the lease is up. I'll work at home. Right now I'm thinking of encouraging him to set up shop at one of our customer sites. They offer all the time because they have improved access to him that way. Free rent is a plus. His need for lack of distraction might not be served that way though. If I had those focus issues I would head to the library with my laptop.
One of the things happening here - sometime - is me and L moving to another part of the office, so that the two people who have been causing a lot of the problems do not have such immediate access to us. It might also help them realize (which hasn't happened in 8 years yet) that they are not our bosses.
The move is going to cause a lot of uproar. At least, I think it will. And I just want to get it over with. But they have to find two spaces and possibly move other folks, plus the logistics of phones/computers and all that crap - so it isn't going to happen fast.

I have the tea house theme!
