DJ, I'm so sorry and I hope you can leave early and take care of yourself.
You just can't let them delay on this. It could be nothing, but if it is the Shingles rash, it HAS to be treated, immediately, and it's not the sort of thing you can wait out, to see what happens.
Cash, I have to echo this. Not to be alarmist, but my grandmother had a shingles rash above her eye running up into her hairline and she suffered with pain from it until she died. (She was in her 60s when she got it so I'm sure you're much better off but still best to get treatment ASAP.)
My yesterday at work sucked mightily as I was scolded for a long time by our HR lady (who I can't stand) first thing in the a.m. for being (unitentionally, I swear!) rude to our main admin (who I love!). However, I did not go to jail. So, thanks Erin for putting my non-issue in perspective! Seriously! And I hope your problem is resolved as quickly and painlessly as possible.
No-complications~ma, Beverly.
{{{DJ}}} I'm so sorry.
{{{Cashmere}}} I hope your doctor is helpful today.
vw, good luck today! The outfit you want to wear sounds very nice.
I have a school hangover today.
Finally caught up. -ma and punctuation to all who needs them.
Turns out "Strangers in the Night" was number one on the very day I was born. Bookended by "Paperback Writer". Ce la vi.
No complications for Beverly! ~ma headed your way.
I decided that instead of a manicure, I'd download wishlist music from iTunes. It lasts much longer, anyway!
Dear Boss -
While I like spending money, I am not going to cut a check for $34K without your say so. If you could remember what checks you tell me to cut, it would save us all A LOT of time.
Ta,
waves from the "Not Dead, Just Very Sick" corner
hugs all her Bitches in a non-contagious way
While I like spending money, I am not going to cut a check for $34K without your say so.
What a missed opportunity.
Just remember to make it out to "C-A-S-H". Then we'll go get you something pretty. Like...a car.
Oh, juliana, I'm so sorry you're sick. Do you have somebody to bring you soup and juice and stuff?
Oh, DJ, I am so sorry. I'm vibing for workstuff resolution that'll allow you to get out of there and go home at least a little early. Take care of yourself, and love to your Mimi.
Straightforward~ma to Beverly and her mom.
Erin, Hec's friend Phil turns out, unsurprisingly, to have a devious solution to all your future car problems. Hec can explain it when he pops in (I've got scads of work today and won't be checking in again until late afternoon): the amazing tale of how Phil parked wherever he wanted all over San Francisco for three years, paid just $23 for the privilege, and still has a pristine record in this city.
Of course, it's totally unethical and illegal, but when your budget constraints come down to "What do I want most this week, food or ADs or rent?" it's possible that the borders of acceptable ethics get a little squishier.
Smooches to everyone else, and I'm out of here!
Uh oh. I just got my Signals catelog. I SO need this t-shirt: [link]
