You can do it, Suzi. You're bright and hard working and they'd be lucky to get you as an employee. Also, pity parties are totally allowed in Bitches, so I wouldn't worry about it a bit.
Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I hate that "selling myself" stuff, too, Suzi. If it was up to me, the world would just see how awesome we are. But you are awesome, we know it your current bosses know it, these guys will see it.
In totally shallow news, I have a snood attached to a polka-dot bow. I like it. I may very well be able to build an outfit around it out of clothes I already have. Yay.
Suzi , good luck.
Hil, I was going to say - talk to the doctor, because what you made need to do is use the inhaler regularly to help your lungs heal.
Sean,my best to you and S.

It is officially the 18th where I am, so Happy Real Birthday, Beth!!!
I finally just finished the paper that was due at 1 am yesterday. I'm trying not to beat myself up about it too much since that professor seemed understanding that stuff happens.
Health~ma to S and coping~ma to Sean.
Sean, all my best wishes to you and S.
hey folks, though ya'll might want to see my pictures from york. they turned out *awesome* 'cause we had summer weather all weekend long.
Happy Actual Birthday, beth!!!
Sean, I hope S is doing better.
whoo - Chickenish neophyte that I am, I lurked through about 300 amazing posts... unschooling - who's flirty -... now sending health~ma and general good~ma to everyone for good measure.
And what, you ask, rocked me out of my lurk? why:
I do want a large oval one for roasting a chicken, but I want a different color. Most of my kitchen stuff is blue and yellow, so I have a blue one now and I want a yellow one.
Yup, le creuset - personal fetish (though education and children [especially late-sleeping, messy, smart-as, awesome children] are personal faves too - you just can't get them in all the cool colors like lemongrass). I'd used mine about twice and wasn't allowed to even mention another color - until I found this recipe book [link] anyone else ever really annoyed that in order to cook stuff in a crock-pot for 6 hours, you have to, um, cook it first? ie - "brown the chicken..." grr. This is the first recipe book I've found where you don't have to cook anything (even pasta) first. A lot of chopping - but that's kind of fun. and the recipes (veg and not) are really good.
ok - slinking back into shy corner...
