HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BETH!!!!
vw, congrats!!!
The Indigo Children thing weirds me out.
Karaoke was hilarious last night. I wore my cowboy hat! Lynyrd Skynyrd was sung in my honor! There was two-stepping! Also, R still beats me out for sheer hyper/Tricksterness. That boy, I tell ya.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BETH!!
I want a promise from my Bitches.
I have been known to sometimes do things out of the ordinary, even for me. If you ever, ever, ever hear me claim that my child is either Indigo or Crystal, please to slap me, yes?
Had another Royal dream last night. This time, I was living at the Palace cause I was promised to one of the young Princes. Not sure which, but hey! At least I'm loser to my age range. Right before I woke up, I was talking to either Beatrice or Eugenie and asked them how I go shopping cause I wanted new clothes.
Thanks to the Crystal Light people, I now know what a "Human Angel" is....
[link]
Note: "The Group" is a group of real angels that, um, help humans by explaining stuff to us. Some guy channels them, which is how they communicate to us.
The phrase Human Angel has been used in literature for thousands of years. The Group has been talking about the evolution of Human Angels only since 1999. In a live channel presented in Eindhoven ,Holland, they presented the "7 gifts of the third millennium." In this message the 5th gift is that we are no longer the only planet of free choice. The Second Planet of Free Choice has begun and is in its own evolutionary time frame.
The Group says that as Angels in Heaven, their own highest purpose is to reflect the magnificence of humans. And that we as Humans are now beginning to evolve into higher vibrational status. The next stop on our evolutionary travels will lead some of us to become Human Angels.
A Human Angel is a person who makes a commitment to be placed by spirit at exactly the right juncture of time and space to make a positive contribution in the life of another human.
The Group is quick to point out that being a Human Angel can be very difficult as you rarely get to see the harvest of the seeds you plant. Also being a Human Angel means being ready to empower without taking responsibility or power from the human you are empowering. Not an easy task, as any Angel will tell you. Yet, making a commitment to be placed into situations where just a kind word, a touch, a smile, or a gift can help a person alter the course of their lives forever. This is the work of a Human Angel.
The Group also states that this is only a temporary post as those who choose the role of Human Angels are actually in training to play the role of Angels to the Second Planet of Free Choice.

Okay!
Had another Royal dream last night.
So you're saying you're a first generation early responder?
My favorite part about the Indigo Children is that the chief characteristics identifying an Indigo child are that they are pissy and entitled.

So, teachers, doctors, parents.
There are some crystal children among us. Supposedly. They are frequently diagnosed by the medical/psychological establishment as autistic.
I'm not ready to buy into this Indigo/crystal thing, but at the same time, I have observed that the two autistic men I have worked with in group homes - well they are far more keenly emotionally sensitive than one might expect, giving the media stereotypes of autistic people, and the general descriptions of autism in the professional literature. One of them frequently would tug on my sleeve, with the effect of pulling me back into the moment after I'd fallen into a brown study. Not bad for a fellow who didn't speak. One I'm working with currently, one day I was sitting at the kitchen table doing paperwork. I felt thirsty and had gotten to the point of consciously thinking, "I should get my water bottle." The next thing I know, he's in the fridge, getting my water for me and opening the cap. Another time, he opened my water bottle and handed it to me when I wasn't feeling thirsty. But to humor him, I drank it. And after I drank it, I got that surge of energy that you get from drinking water when a little dehydrated. So I, for one, can't completely discount the crystal child thing. Then again, I'd be quite happy saying that the professional descriptions of autism truly do not capture the whole picture.

Yeah. They refuse to wait in lines. Which is supposed to be a
good
thing.
Happy birthday, Beth!
But, I want to know who recommended me!
Yay, vw! My guess is that most of your English profs recommened you. Maybe all of them.
My news: still sick. At least the high fever last night justified getting the antibiotics. Also, now I can't talk. And I'm almost out of Kleenex.
Someday, I hope to be able to talk about interesting things and not about my life as a sodden lump of snot.
Happy Birthday, Beth!!!
vw, that's great! Congratulations!
I've been recommended to apply for the English department's writing tutoring program
That is wonderful! Nice to be recognized for your awesomeness.
