I don't know about you guys, but I've had it with super-strong little women who aren't me.

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Because books.

Happy Birthday, NoiseDesign! I hope there's lots of cake and happy stuff today.

The boys have an extra day of spring break -- it's snowing like mad, and it's supposed to go on all day.

It's APRIL 16, for pete's sake! ::shakes fist helplessly at Mother Nature::

Our wings are not tired.

I envy vw's ability to sleep soundly.

I don't think that happened while I was asleep. I think it happened between when I walked Toto this morning and when I took him out a bit ago to pee. 'Cause I didn't see it down when I walked Toto this morning, and I think I would have noticed that. I'm a little concerned about my hearing, but also glad to see I'm not quite as jumpy as I have been the last couple of months :)

Irony or coincidence?

Just as I *FINALLY* get through to someone at the EDD, I get an email from them saying, "Sorry. Our bad. We're sending the forms."

I'm glad you finally found a human (?) at EDD, Aimee.

Timelies, all.

Question for the hivemind.

I bought this pair of shoes on Friday: [link] I've worn them twice. The toes are totally scuffed and no longer brown, and I can't figure out why that would have happened (except that I was playing Ring Around the Rosie with E yesterday, but still). Should I try to polish them? Take them back? What would you guys do?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Slept most of the morning. My temp's gone from 100.6 last night to 96.5 now. Breathing still hurts, but I'm feeling much less like crap now.
