Also, Bastard Out of Carolina? Ouch ouch ouch. Yeah, they could use some real sweet-spot angst after the real-life stupid and unromantic awfulness.

I love Bastard. If you like it, read Trash by Allison. It's a bunch of short stories, and you can see some much more authobio versions of Bastard, It's really interesting, and very good.

I have been very productive this weekend! I taught yesterday, cleaned out my work desk and organized, worked on lesson plans, mopped the kitchen floor, I have laundry in, bought salt, taken out the trash and cleaned the first layers of clutter from the living room and bedroom.

Oh, and done the dishes. And I didn't go out at all this weekend. I'm like the Queen of Virtue.

I uploaded about a billion pictures today until Flickr decided to be uncooperative. There are about 8 sets of Buffista stuff so far.

Awww -- looking at Laura's Buffista photos is like re-living the F2Fs all over again!

Things I noticed when looking at the Nillyfest set:
