I always thought the name Serenity had a vaguely funereal sound to it.

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

I stayed up all night working on my taxes. I'm a delinquent and didn't finish some previous years so I've been working on them too. I also didn't pay my last 2 estimated tax payments for this year's. I have enough $$ in the bank to cover at least.

Now to go to bed!

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

So it gives me kind of a warm feeling when they do, as juliana's friend just did with no prompting and no cues (i.e., juliana wasn't even with me). Yay, my face is not completely bland and lacking in character!

Your face is not bland, and who? M?

I had the Emily tonight, and it was good. She got a lot of my clothes that don't work for me any more. We were planning on going to dinner, but then I Got A Call, asking me to bartend at the bar downstairs (which is only wine, beer, and soju). Em was okay with that, so we got pizza and I bartended and Emily chatted with another friend of mine for a while and I tought her how to play dice and it was a pretty good night.

Oh, and Daisy? There's a provisional offer out there for you & me to bartend downstairs on Saturday. It depends on 1) how you feel about it and 2) how the regular bartender's knee is doing (currently not well, which is why I filled in). So. It would cancel rampaging, but it might be fun. And everyone could sit in front of us and be amused.

Mostly lurking...

blah blah blah morning cakes.

I'm in a weird mood today.

Our wings are not tired.

Yawn. I slept in. I should do that more often.

We are going to get a big line of thunderstorms in about an hour. I need to get outside and pick up stuff. We really need this rain so I hope it is bunches.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I just woke up and now I want ice cream. You are all evil.

Things went very well last night at the family meet up dinner. So well in fact that at one point Mom said that they were all going to get together this summer and TCG and I could come if we wanted too. Big relief.

Today we take a small stand with our landlady. There is a showing today, and we're not leaving.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Right on, sj!

That reminds me of the time I went to look at an apartment and there was some skinny shirtless dude in the middle of the floor (in the dining room) on a mattress smoking a cigarette. The place was a pit and it had a junkie lounging in the middle of it, and we still took it.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

We had the exciting thunderstorms last night, but I don't think we got much rain. We need it too. Now it's windy, gray and 45 degrees.

ION, still sick. Sick, sick, sick.

Our wings are not tired.

Yay, sj! Quite often when I have looked at places the residents didn't leave. Get over it landlady.

Ick! The sick needs to move along, Ginger. You got stuff to do! Did they fix the hole in the ground in front of your house? (skippy week)

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I am not feeling so great either. And yucky weather. And also I feel stupid, maybe someone can help me.

I emailed my prof my annotated bibliography, the first step for a lit review. She writes back with comments, and stuff, and asks: "Do you have a reference list going?" I do not know what she means, so I write back and say, "I'm not sure what you mean by reference list... ?" I get an email back from her that says: "You have a full references page, yes?"

NOT HELPFUL! I don't know what she means! Does anyone with more research savvy know what she's referring to? I basically wrote her back asking her to spell it out, and I feel stupid and dumbass and cranky.
