Anya, the Shopkeepers of America called. They wanted me to tell you that 'please go' just got replaced with 'have a nice day.'

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I'm getting the pig!

TCG and my worlds' are colliding tonight. We're having dinner with my mom, stepdad, and grandfather and his dad and stepmom. They've never met before. I think things are going to go fine, but I won't turn down any everyone-get-along~ma.

Everyone-get-along~ma!!! I'm sure everyone will play nice and be polite and entertaining, though. Just don't forget to let us know how it went.

General get-well glitter for all.

Good call. ::adds more glitter to the pile::

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

He wound up on a plate last night, though.
Well yes, Sushi is delicious...

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Scond paper of the day done. Now to responding to discussion questions.

I need a break though. I'm taking two courses right now. A performing arts review course and managerial finance. Bouncing between the two is making my brain ache. Luckily the first ends on Monday.

No one wants to meet me in Boise? Awwww, come on.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

You can propose Boise for the F2F next year, Suzi.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Poor Lilybean. Both my kids had wicked, hard to shake ear infections too. Makes for sad, grumpy toddlers. I hope her ears clear up soon.

Oh, and if you can, try to find chewable probiotics for her. This last time we used them and the kids loved them and there weren't any unhappy tummies.

Franny and Isaac are so damn cute and sparkly and bursting with personality!

Thanks, JZ. They are both pretty sunny kids, and for that I'm grateful. And as for the scarcity of pics, I promise that will be rectified.Uh, eventually.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Damn, I can't believe I missed the Lensman discussion last night. I had such a crush on Kimball K. Kinnison. Hey, I was 14, he had gray eyes and a gray leather outfit. It was the geek version of Elvis.

only reason I go to work in the morning is because there's a Starbucks drive-thru on the way.

That is the only thing I'm going to miss once I'm gone from work. I'm going to have to start training up a different Starbuck's crew.

So many beautiful babies! Seeing their pictures makes me want to see them all together, it would be better than even the most beautiful of botanical gardens. The flowers of Buffistae in all their glory.

This post brought to you by the letters W.I.N.E.

Our wings are not tired.

Feh. I lost my post. Yay wine!

Just got back from picking up Brendon from his movie date. No longer doing the group movie thing. Just Brendon and the girlfriend. But he took her to see Aqua Teen.... movie. She doesn't watch the show and he mocked her lack of knowledge. He has much to learn.

What is even happening?

Indeed. I'm sure he will. Good thing he's so cute.

Laura, I just voted, if you want to see if the thingie is working.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Owie. My fever's gone mostly down, but my shoulders are still aching. (My shoulders and back always hurt when I get a fever. I don't understand why.)

(Also, when I get sick, I get whiny. That one, I understand a bit better. It's not preventing me from posting this whiny post, though.)

Because books.

Hil, my husband always has muscle aches when he has a fever. Can you take some ibuprofen or tylenol?

I love good strawberry ice cream, but my favorite fruit ice cream is peach. Haagen Daz used to have a great peach, but I think they stopped making it.

I'm having cinnamon toast and tea, and I don't even know why. I'm totally ready for bed.
