I told my dad last night about my day in jail. I thought he'd be pissed, and I think he tried, but instead he laughed so hard I thought pieces of lung would come out, and finally wheezed, "Jesus, you really are my daughter."
Thank GOD this week is a short week. P/T conferences on Thursday all day, but it's a long day but easy until about 3:30. I get a lot done, and I also think I'll bring a DVD for later.

I know Monday was a sucky day for lots of reasons for many of you - for which, hairpats, punctuation, and ~ma.
But a good friend who has had an exceptionally tough time of the last several years - much of it due to bureaucraxic craxiness - finally got some relief yesterday. This is "Numfar, do the Dances of Joy, Thanksgiving, and Money to Pay Rent, consecutively. Or simultaneously. Whichever," territory. I am so happy for her, I must celebrate yesterday as being a brilliant and beautiful day.

IlesserbutfrustratingON, my favorite jeans ripped out last night. Right across the back of the thigh. This is the second pair of jeans (identical style from the same store) to do this in the past year. I'm seriously tempted to tell them they owe me a new pair for free.
