Whatever happened to the still beating heart of a virgin? No one has any standards anymore.

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Always Anti-fascist!

Yes, no. maybe. Lisa. (That's still hilarious, btw. Although not as obnoxious as not being able to watch talkshows now cause "intimacy" makes me giggle and think Tickle my nuts... And because I like the Office, I now have to post "that's what she said."

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

What a square! hee!

But it's adorable!

I'm certainly going to try and be there (assuming I don't have to go to PA).

I'm trying not to have too much fun watching karma bite her in the ass.

You can enjoy it, a little. That way it stays a zero-sum game.

juliana, that's a double-EEEP! Quick, someone call JDM or Kyle Chandler! Our girl's in need of some eye-candy.

Happy Birthday, Lillybean, Princess Tickybox of Squeakaboo!

Hil and I are as one in the coughing up of disgusting stuff.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Generally, yeah. What's the equation? It might be something where you can get it in terms of just two variables -- I don't recall doing any 3D graphs until third semester calculus, and I don't remember any in the algebra books I've seen.

The equation is 3x+2y-z=44, with x=2

It's for a discussion question and that was an equation made up by a classmate. Instead of trying to figure out how to graph it, I just took it over and solved it for her since she got stuck after figuring out y. I'm really quite proud of myself for doing it, too!

x=2, y=19.513, z=1.027

ZOMG. I'm going to Minneapolis next month.

Hey, so am I! When are you going to be there?

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

When are you going to be there?

The 11th through the 14th. Yipes.

Dude! I'm going to be there from 5/11-5/16! I'm going for a work conference, so don't know how much availability I'll have, but it sure would be cool to see you there.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Happy Second Annual Tickybox Celebration Day, Lilybean! Will there be any birthday pictures?

I'm physically restraining myself right now from clicking on any links to Plei's remember-when flickr photos, because I know I'll end up going back to the very first Bean picture ever and spending the rest of the day whimpering over them all, in order.

Best wait until tonight when Hec and Emmett go to Little League practice.

Also, {{{Laura}}} and yay for Brendon offering to be the Bad Parent and set you free for the night (though he still owes you a debt of doting sweetness and stepping-up-to-the-plateness from Christmas). The teenager/homework dance sounds so exhausting and disheartening, Brendon Jr. a damn clue already.

Also, Aimée's ex-boss desperately needs to be sporked in the eye, and possibly assed in the ear as well.

The status is NOT quo.

t flops in thread

I've been organizing a massive poetry slam and Poet Laureate contest at school this month (the centerpiece of which is bringing Victor and thessaly in to work with English classes for two days next week--whee!). Given how massively long this week has felt with my total and utter lack of sleep, I had planned to duck out of work early. I was done teaching at 1:30 and was all excited to sneak out, go home, and nap hard. Unfortunately, between answering questions about placement testing for 10 Honors, finalizing the class/room schedule for V&L's workshops, putting together the rules and submission guidelines for both contests, and compiling a packet of materials for a student home on medical leave, I am just packing up now.

OMG. So. Tired. Dozing off in traffic on the long drive home is a serious concern.

Our wings are not tired.

Dozing in traffic is a bad bad plan. Can you find a place to close your eyes for 20 minutes?
