Congratulations to the class of 1999. You all proved more or less adequate.

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Happy Birthday, Lillian!

Gothy-type links for Jilli:animal art pieces and "Blue" by The Birthday Masscre.

Kids both slept 11 hours last night. I'm in the mood to celebrate.

And now I want quiche.

OK, Blue was interesting early morning entertainment.

The quiche didn't work out. I had made a very yummy broccoli and cauliflower variety a week or so ago and thought the cauliflower worked well. This time I had too much cauliflower and it is rather bland. I spiced it up after the fact. When we are on low carb kicks I try and always have quiche around for a quick breakfast.

Last post before I go to work, really. An odd Pleiades photo is the astronomy picture of the day today. [link]

A friend of mine emailed that to me this morning. I thought so. I have an antique Amish doll that sort of reminds me of the dolls in the video--only it has no face.

I had a slice of veggie quiche in NYC recently. I can't remember the name of the bakery in the Village but it was AWESOME. I think it had red peppers in, though.

not your mom's socks.

The buffista baby convergence - Iris too! UNTIL 6:30am ! Awesome.

I'm with whoever said that the writers of the violin piece probably wouldn't lose their jobs if they were late, missed their train, etc. Wish it weren't so. There was an artist in Austria who felt that the people most likely to enjoy new art were also the least likely to be able to access it. So he built public housing that looked like this ... which of course didn't stay public housing for long...

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

LILYBEAN! TICKYBOX! TWO!

Heh. It's like when everyone gets their period at the same time.

I love the name Iris, by the way.
