Jinx? If you and Dreg have been using my moisturizer again I'm going to have to rip off your scaly- hey, what's the deal with your face?

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I bought a three year old Chevy in 1993 for less than $5000. I drove it ten years and put over 200,000 miles on it and never had to do any major repair except something with the transmission that didn't really cost very much. It was a good car, and a helluva good deal.

Now tagless for your comfort.

What did you say to her?

I told her that I shouldn't have left her office on Friday without a script and that her diagnosis was correct. When I told her that I called at 4 trying to get a script called in she said, "Well, we were still seeing patients...." Like she couldn't have spent five minutes calling in a script for me. I could overlook their weekend no-scripts policy because that's set by the practice, not her. But the fact that she excuses everyone for not doing their job because it's after 4 on a Friday is bullshit.

How are you feeling?

Doped to the gills and doing better. Valtrex for the virus, Ultram for the pain, Benedryl for the itch and some calamine lotion coating the rash. I'm a walking, talking pharmacy.

I'm going to talk to my friend, Mo, about her doc. She seems to love him and says he answers medical questions via e-mail and is very helpful.

What is even happening?

Yeah, it really is.

I'm glad you got pain meds, at least.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

It's so quiet in here tonight. I'm trying to finish a paper for my class and I am missing my just finished a section distraction.

I added one book to the Library Thing, but I can't even think about doing that right now. Maybe when I am packing up books, if/when we move.

You can still go through and make sure you have all the right covers and ISBNs and and and...possibly you have better things to do with your time.
