I'm all up in the law now, but damn it feels good to get my violence on.

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

not your mom's socks.

Sparky and Meara and/or Topic!Cindy please to come take the peeps, jellybeans, and salted cashew nuts out of my house. Easter's left me with a pile of Bad Things To Eat, a DH who tries to hide it on the high shelf that I can only see the underside of (but I do own a stepladder), and a toddler who asks for 'happy beans!' first thing in the morning. There is (oops, was) a bag of starburst jelly beans on my desk - bad thing. very bad.

and, yes - sox has shoooz. awesome ones. and a really awesome good cousin.

any/many buffistas in and around baltimore?

What is even happening?

You might want to eat a piece of toast or something first. Peeps are not, strictly speaking, food.

Too late. In the interest of science, I sampled some of the sugar remaining in the Peep box, to see if there was any flavor to it, or if it just tasted like sugar. It did not only taste of sugar. It also sort of tasted...yellow.

eta...

HAPPY BEANS! Oh Sox, that's adorable.

I was just going to say. So cute.

Cindy, you can still have a piece of toast now, if you're afraid it will upset your stomach.

I've had no breakfast yet, and man is this conversation making me hungry. Not for Peeps, though.

Okay, the thought of Cindy licking the bottom of the Peeps box just cracked me up, and the other librarian came to see what was so funny.

Sox, I don't eat any jelly-like candy objects. My Easter baskets were filled with chocolate because my mother doesn't like jelly-like candy, and thus was I brainwashed.

Mostly lurking...

Now I want peeps. I don't even really love them.

Guess it's time to make some oatmeal.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

TCG forgot to get me Peeps for Easter. I might have to go steal some from him.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I feel less bad about birthday cake for breakfast knowing someone's out there eating Peeps first thing in the morning.

Sox, ask me about the M&Ms for Breakfast Wars.

My kids have turned into night-time freaks. Owen will wake up a couple of times a week at 2:30 a.m. and not got back to sleep until 6:00 a.m. Then, of course, he sleeps until after 10. He's asleep right now.

DH and I took shifts last night but I was at my wits end and falling asleep sitting up when I woke him up to take over.

And Olivia woke up twice last night, too. She's currently watching Miss Spider and drinking juice.

The only one I can think of is lisah. Maybe her band will be playing some night and we can go see them. Otherwise, you'll just have to come to D.C. more often for the local-istas.

Isn't sarameg in Baltimore?

No gummy worms?? Really? oh, aunt M.

yes, Happy Beans. though, 'lellow' for yellow is still my #1 favorite. as in "can I have one of those lellow peeps?'

Durn - workside reindeer games need squishing (again) ... though I'm working from home, so no one can hear me scream.
