What about staring unseeing at the television?
I think you missed the "relaxing after a crap day" bit.
I have "beer time", "whiskey time", and "shot time", and they do go in that order. "Beer time" is any time (this also applies to wine). "Shot time" is not until after 10 p.m., unless it's a Friday or a Saturday. "Whiskey time" is when it's time to switch to whiskey.
Apropos of this discussion - can I say HOW MUCH I'm looking forward to hosting Daisy in 9 days?? SO MUCH. This is, like, destiny, man.

I have seen evidence counter to this.
Hey, Daisy! Are you getting here on April 19? Because there's an OMWF singalong in Oakland that night!

Eeeeeee!
::points at tag!::
Eeeeee!
I don't have beer time since I don't drink beer. Wine time is when there's no scotch around. Shots are a little different. I'm allowed one with my first drink at a bar, then I can have 3 more spread out.

I am!

If it's cool with whoever's coming to get me from the airport.
Dude!
As I'm typing all this, the phone rings, and it says "San Francisco, CA" on the caller ID, and for half a second I thought it was one of y'all.
Spooky!

On a Friday or Saturday, the rules are different. Wench.

Ooooooooo.
But she or we would probably need a ride home after.

Let me know (by e-mail, so I don't miss it) if you want to come because we'll have to get you tickets; it'll sell out. It's at 9:15, and they'll be showing three episodes altogether, which means it won't get out till midnight.
But she or we would probably need a ride home after.
And, normally, I wouldn't mind doing that, but I have an 8:30 orthopedist appointment the next morning. But maybe I could swing it anyway, if there's no other option.
Apparently my grandfather's been coughing up blood for the past week, and he's going in for a colonoscopy next Friday. I guess it was only a matter of time before something hit
my
family.
Eep! Health~ma for your grandfather, P-C.
Oh my, the Parkway website is most intriguing. I am intrigued.
I'm sure we can have an answer by Thursday (which I have off! Yay!)
~ma for your grampa. Hope it's nothing worse than a small ulcer.
