Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What is even happening?

Did you figure out what happened to Mal, Raq?

I'm leaning toward bug bite. It's on his inner thigh, and last night when I picked him up from the nanny's it was a swollen angry red area about 4" long by 1.5" wide, with a clear bright red circle in the middle. It looked like it could have been irritated from rubbing against his diaper.

I was pretty worried it was a scorpion sting because it was so awful looking, but after putting cortizone on it and a gauze cover, much of the redness and swelling went away, and there never were the vein traceries I associate with scorpion stings.

Whatever it was, it ruptured a whole bunch of blood vessels and involved some toxin. Since it took 4 adults to hold him down for one quick shot, I doubt there's any way just R and I will be able to hold him for long enough to pull the toxin out, so we're just monitoring it.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I hope Mal's leg is ok, Raq.

Scary cruise ship sinking.

Our houseguests were out and gone by 7 a.m. We don't have to leave until noon so I have time to pack and do my dishes.

How would you pull the toxin out, in theory?

Hey, that's a pretty good trick -- getting rid of houseguests at 7am. Have a good weekend.

We had our annual Easter play at church last night. Scott and the kids are part of the crowd. I acted some in junior high, high school and college, but I've lost my nerve, so I'm happy to just be in the audience.

Scott and Ben were against Jesus. Chris and Julia were for Jesus (this is when Pilate is judging him). They were all in the play last year, but this year, the anti-Jesus half of the crowd really bothered Chris. We weren't sure he was going to be able to be in it (which was fine by us, but he wanted to be in it). He ended up doing fine though. I thought he was crying, but it turns out he was just acting. There's another performance, tonight.

Heh. Watch out for that kid.

Yargh! I don't ever want to live anywhere where I know these kinds of things! *shudder*

I can imagine Hec standing up in his seat and yelling "PIAZZA!" (Like the guy in Mets Jail on King of Queens.)

Gah. My FiL just called and I had to tell them they couldn't visit today. They are always super busy with their activities and my BiL's senior year in high school. They were in Florida for Spring Break last week so it's been nearly a month since they've seen the kids. They finally both got the day off and wanted to drive down (a rarity) to see us but we have to leave by noon. They won't be home next weekend when we go through town, either so it's going to be a while until they can see the kids.

In theory, we'd use the vaccuum thingy in our medkit that's for snakebites. Since we didn't use it right away (since we didn't know what the injury was), there's probably no point now, other than Making Mal Miserable (tm) (what he claims we do best).

I was just talking to a friend who coaches 10yo softball, and none of his girls, although they attend church and Sunday school, could tell him what Easter is about. Doing a play seems like a great way to learn (although, I never understood Palm Sunday and we acted that out).

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Morning! Today is haircut day, and then head down to the beach day! I am armed with lots of pictures for the hairdresser. Wish me luck!

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Rainbows and palm trees make Suzi a happy girl.

Almost as happy as Piazza, homeruns, and Kendal making that throw to second. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh.

Hey, doesn't LJ have an icon-maker-like tool? Gah, can't find it.

Sigh. I need entertainment. I don't wanna work.
