I can't stand how Mr. Jane, and most boys with the exception of best friend only play a snippet of a song until they switch to something else they'll only play a snippet of. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

I didn't finish the hair band quiz, because I know I will fail spectacularly. Though I did get Aerosmith. Because Steven Tyler is a skinny, skinny man.
I really never thought of either Aerosmith or Van Halen as a hair band. I mean Tyler was always tarted up, but I had had the feeling he'd be tarted up like that if he was a bus boy, and David Lee Roth was a hairbear, but the bands weren't (to me) included in the hair band category. I think I got 9 right (maybe 8). I know I second guessed myself on Poison and then that threw me for one of the next ones.

Just had matzo brei for breakfast. I've got matzo and egg salad for lunch. I ought to have something other than matzo and eggs at some point today, I think. (This is how I always end up getting sick during Passover. I go for the easy food, and easy Passover food doesn't include vegetables. But I've got an eggplant casserole planned for tonight, and a spinach and artichoke one for Sunday, so that's something.)
You know, I like vegetables and I think just about anything slathered with hollandaise sauce is yummy, but brussels sprouts for breakfast? (which is what one co-worker is having)

This is the only thing my boyfriend in college knew how to cook. He pretty much subsisted on matzo brei and cheese pizza.
So, I called Biyi tonight and we had the following conversation:
