Just back from dinner with my family! They came down from St. Joe, and we went out for my dad's bday dinner -- he's 67! Wow!
He wrestled with his dinner, which was a fancy-sh paellaesque dish, with en-shelled mussels and shrimp. It was funny. He about had a goodgasm over his apple torte with cinnamon ice cream, solemnly telling the waiter "This crust is as good as my mom's. AND THAT'S NOT SOMETHING I SAY LIGHTLY!"
And my mom brought me a jade bracelet!! And Ambien! My sister brought me a trashy romance, and my dad slipped me some cash.

The jewelry store my mom worked at closed, and she bought a jade bracelet for me, my sister and herself, and just hasn't seen me to give it to me. It's pretty; deep seawater green, irregularly-shaped beads on a chocolate brown string with onyx (I think) round bead between the jade. And it's a slider, so it's adjustable.
That sounds really pretty.

That's right. It's me hometown; dad's from there, mom lived there since high school.
