Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Well, I LJed her, which means she'll have it in writing. So there.
That's good! She will have a reference.
Yes!! The end of this month. I leave here in 10 days, and I'm simultaneously chomping at the bit to leave and frantic that I won't be able to get everything done here before I leave. Buffistas!! Live and in person!! Whoot!
This is me re: SF except it's 15 days, and there's a smattering of "OMG! What if they decide I suck!?!"
"OMG! What if they decide I suck!?!"
Not bloody likely. My North Beach friends are already half in love for you for drinking green Chartreuse.
"OMG! What if they decide I suck!?!"

Hee. I can just be really insecure sometimes. I don't often come off that way, but I get really nervous about new people. When I was little it was waaaaaaay worse. I've had sort of a "Make New Friends" initiative, and it's just this past Sunday that I had the nerve to call and invite people to come hang out with just me and away from the Vine because in my head it goes, "They're hanging out with you because it's convenient. If you try to make plans they'll be 'busy.'"
I'm the same way, Daisy Jane. I always feel like I'm bothering people. Imposing on them.

I am Daisy Jane. I am very pretty. (Yeah, I totally do that too.)

Yep. Either that or I'm irritating and they're just being nice because they like Mr. Jane.
wrod. Except without the husband. I relate otherwise, though.
