Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Mostly lurking...

I really know how to celebrate.

Hey, sounds good to me!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I haven't touched the ROTH in a few years because I've had employer matching 401Ks.

Yeah, our company just introduced that (it's only $0.50 to the dollar, but it's something), so I just increased my contribution to get the maximum match because, dude: FREE MONEY!

But if you have money left over after getting the match, the Roth IRA looks pretty cool. Do I have to choose my own stocks? I don't know how to invest at all. Can't eTrade just put it in the right things?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It's time for... Gothy Animation!

Cool, oddly gothy Weetabix commercial

More goth animation - Gloomy Valentine

Windswept Goth with a fifties western pop thing

Emelia the 5 year old Goth - would be perfect except for the egregious Marilyn Manson reference.

Jill Tracy's The Fine Art of Poisoning

Blood Tea and Red String trailer -a gothic mousey tea party.

Our wings are not tired.

So my sister called me a few minutes ago to let me know I could watch my nephew getting married in Vegas over streaming video. So I watched. The video was awful, but fun! Not as much fun as if I had actually gone to Vegas, but still fun.

I have been reading all the early withdrawal stuff because I am doing the tax return for a friend that did that. Reading the instructions is making my head all explody.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Tonight sucks. DH, K-Bug, Mom and even CJ have all been cutting me off mid-sentence. I think I'm just going to give up talking to any of them. So frustrating.

Our wings are not tired.

What did you say? Brendon started talking midway through my reading your post.

I've gotten pretty close to this today. Feh.

On the bright side, you can talk to us instead!!

Yep - and in person soon...right?

K-Bug walked in and commented that everyone was "in a mood" tonight. Ummm, yeah. I just nodded.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Hec, do you have some sort of alert set up to let you know when I'm having a crap day, prompting you to find shiny things to distract me? I'm not complaining, I'm just kinda bemused.

(I stayed home sick today because apparently something I ate at the Seder we attended last night Did Not Agree with me. So, not a terribly good day. But yay! Gothy Animation!)

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

She replies, quite loudly, while he's stopped a few feet away waiting for the light to change, "NUH HUH! No wonder you like your gynecologist!"

yeah, my gyno is kind cute. He's a great guy, and a good doctor. I recommended him to a friend, and she called me up and said "you didn't tell me he was HOT!"
