orders pizza to be delivered to Kristin's house.
Heee. This reminds me of a call I got yesterday.
Cell phone rings
Me: Hello?
Voice: Yeah, is this mumble?
Me: Who? I think you have a wrong number.
Voice: You ordered pizza. I'm at your door.
Me: Um, no.
Hee, Suzi. That goes along with having pizza delivered to your apartment and they call you to find out which number you're in, only to find out they have gone to the wrong building.
I just made an awesome 'sghetti, Kristin. I'd invite you over, but I think by the time you got here the pizza would have been delivered anyway.
P-C: You have until 4/17/07 to establish a 2006 tax year Roth.
Contributions to a Roth are from already taxed (and not tax deductible) money.
This means that withdrawals of your contributions are not taxable (the IRS can only take one bite).
Withdrawal of earnings from the Roth (withdrawal that exceeds your contributions) can be taxed. (The IRS will get its one bite).
Roths are also not subject to the Minimum Required Distributions the IRS mandates for regular IRAs once you reach the age of 70 1/2.
But -- what do I wear? Makeup, hair, and shoes are just fine. It's the inbetween bits that are causing me trouble.
It's the inbetween bits that are causing me trouble.
Wear what you usually wear. I'm wearing a black skirt and tall black boots. The shirt will probably be long-sleeved. The jacket will be leather.
I'm tired of what I usually wear!
Mind you, all my more interesting clothes don't fit any more, so... hey jeans, how you doing?
(Going out with juliana always gives me wardrobe insecurity.)
Oh, also P-C:
Distributions that you take before you are 59 1/2 years of age are taxable and may be subject to early withdrawal penalties. After age 59 1/2, the withdrawals are tax and penalty free.
Thanks, MM! So it...does sound like a good idea. I think the catch is that, say, if I need to take out money, it's
out.
I can't replace it later and add the maximum contribution
on top of that.
But that's not really a catch so much because, again, it would have made more money for me in its time than it would have sitting in a savings account.
I ate. Just so everyone stops worrying. Smooches!
MM, is there a limit on what you can make if you're setting up a Roth?
