These girls have the most beautiful dresses. And so do I -- how about that?

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Hooray Nora's raise!

Prince Charles, huh? Huh.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I'm home! And married! Biyi follows in nine days! More later. (It's 3 in the morning! How much later can he go?!?)

A relevant topic of conversation: reading about peoples' troubles with the stereotypes of Western families followed by their nearest and dearest, I should note that Biyi's parents are lovely in-laws. They love their daughter, I love her and care for her and make her happy, and that's all they need to know. I did win brownie points for my dad and my brother attending the wedding (my dad's speech noted that the last time he was in China was helping set up a life-saving society to improve Chinese-Australian relations, but this wasn't what he'd pictured), but they welcomed me just on the strength that their daughter loves me. I feel very lucky. (Especially since my previous xth-generation Australian in-laws thought I was Satan incarnate.)

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Congratulations, billytea!!! May the time pass quickly until your bride is back with you!!!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yay billytea!!

That'd be nice. :-) Meanwhile, whose brilliant idea is it that I have to go into work tomorrow?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

That's great, billytea!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

So, so happy for you, bt. So happy. It's a wondrous thing that you have found such a lovely woman to be your mate, and that her family add to your happiness, and that you will soon be able to live together, having satisfied the government hurdles.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

whose brilliant idea is it that I have to go into work tomorrow?

Probably The Man's. He's got a lot to answer for.

In the mean time, welcome home and congratulations again!

Compassionately intolerant

Felicitations billytea. From what I've read about you in these threads, I can't imagine Biyi's family being able to resist your internationally acclaimed charm!

Go Speed Beejer!

Oh my. I love this.

Would it be terrible if I had tshirts made for Bartleby and me with this on? It's hilarious. And, as my bff says, Bboy is the best pace-dog. No dawdling with that one...and plenty of upperbody workout holding him back from the fat and sassy squirrels on the Capitol lawns.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Congratulations, billytea, and biyitea! I wish for you many years of joy!

Gris, that sucks about your friend. Although it will merely up her street cred with her students...if not her students parents. Yikes. I feel for her.

This should not, in the future, translate into SEX DREAMS about PRINCE EFFING CHARLES.

Was he your tampon?

BWAH!!

Aimee, if it makes you feel any better, I had sex with a Puritan last night (dreamsex!!) and I STILL don't know where THAT came from.

FIRST DAY OF SPRING BREAK!!! I'M OFF ALL WEEK! WOO HOO!
