libkitty, you're 40, today? Happy birthday to you! I'm 26 days ahead of you. Forty has been personally okay so far. I'm like you with March -- too many people I love were born in it for me to hate it. But this March should have been put in a big time out for the way it's treated my Buffistas.
edited, because I actually do know my birthday.
Happy Birthday, libkitty!

Happy Birthday, libkitty! Hope your day is continuing fabulously!
In news that will surprise no one, my meeting that made me sick to my stomach, went much better than expected.
Stress makes me feel that I'm gonna hurl, too.
But I usually don't.
Happy birthday libkitty!

Shhh!
Thanks! It is going very well so far: sunny and fun, a great combo. I'm glad your 40 is going well too, Cindy. I certainly agree that March has been far too hard on far too many.
Today, I'm all sorts of philosophical, and am just glad that we get the good along with the bad. I'm not that philosophical all the time, though. I know it's easy to say that things balance out, to say that this is a relatively affluent group (as compared to, say, farmers scrabbling out a living in Nicaragua or Somalia), but I also know that's not much consolation when you're dealing with finances or health issues. I'm just so thankful to have had this group in good times and bad.
Hippo Birdies, libkitty!!!! I'm glad you and Cindy are thus far enjoying 40. I join that club later in the year.
I found one of the best perks to working in a school with a lot of Hispanics. I had homemade tamales delivered to me hot and yummy. 12 for $7. Can't beat it. And so so tasty.
I've been grading like a fiend today. Quarter grades are due in 2 weeks and I want to get all caught up next week while on Spring Break.
