I walk. I talk. I shop, I sneeze. I'm gonna be a fireman when the floods roll back. There's trees in the desert since you moved out. And I don't sleep on a bed of bones.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Thrive to spite them

The other thing is my rent is very low. It's $450/mth and they could easily get $700 or $800. So she may start thinking not renewing the lease is a good idea, or raising the rent on me is a good idea.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

A co worker said I should send a note with my rent saying she's free to drop by anytime to inspect the house as long as she gives me 24 notice.

That's a good idea.

I'm glad it's a good deal. I just get a little pissy when it feels like I'm back living with my parents. I had a landlady at my first apartment who wanted to dictate whether or not I had boys over.

What is even happening?

askye, I'm sorry your landlord is being a PITA.

In totally unrelated news, Christopher is on the mend, but still home sick. Right now, he's in the living room singing, "I love you. I love you. I love you you you. You love I love you."

I am slain.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Catching up ...

Plei's hair is wonderful, Jilli and Cass are splendid, Em is adorable. Not news, but repeating what's been said.

And, considering Em's parents, she may well create a zombie army ... PINK zombies, possibly with tiaras.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

And, considering Em's parents, she may well create a zombie army ... PINK zombies, possibly with tiaras.

The problem is keeping them pink...even if the paint doesn't flake, the skin it's on does.

The tiaras, however, are no problem. Staple gun.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

sometimes I feel like I need to be more bold with my makeup. I don't wear a lot generally (most days, it's moisturizer, eyeliner and powder and I'm done) Eyeshadows are dark and or muted. Maybe someone will help me with make up for the F2F.

Are you willing to do gold liquid liner? Because, damn, you'd look good with gold liquid liner.

Cass looks gorgeous all gothed up! (And a little like Jennifer Tilley which I don't think I'd noticed before.)

I saw a certain recent picture of the latter, and my first thought was, "Huh. She looks like Cass there."

Vampire pictures! Yay!

Nose at the point where tasting doesn't happen.

Need more decongestants. Suspect pollen warring with cold for Nasal Domination.

But my hair is cute.

So, there is that.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

No more germs are allowed in Cindy's house or anywhere near the Topic! family.

Sweet little boy you got there Cindy.

What is even happening?

Thanks, Daisy. He is awfully sweet. I often think if the rest of the species were like him, I'd like humans a whole lot more.

He's had a stomach bug, but the worst of it seems to have passed, and it was more drawn out than I'd like, but not nearly as intense as some of the shorter ones are.

Having three kids though, when one gets a stomach bug -- I end up holding my breath for a week, to see who else is going to get it, and as each new person falls, that clock resets, so I really appreciate your decree. I think the germs should heed it, or face your wrath.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

And I got plenty of wrath to spare today. Germs! You are on notice!

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Saw a comic in yesterday's paper where someone was accused of having had "cranky flakes" for breakfast.

I've had days like that; sounds like DJ may have, too.
