Yay Vortex!
Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Plei is teh HOTT.
nods
I think for my future makeup needs I am coming to Seattle. Between you and Jilli, I would be set.
nods again
Worked for me!
(still wearing the Mac liquid eyeliner. Which I now own in an array of colours. I think the copper is my favourite. Although the turquoise is the one that gets total strangers coming up to me to marvel and comment enviously.)
Ok, Plei's new do is to die for, and the photo of the Lilybean that was next to that pic plus the photo of Princess Emeline have put the rest of the nails in my coffin. So ded.
Also ded-er from Sammie sitting on the top tier of my desk looking down on me in such a regal fashion. I have decided that long-haired is the uber-cat. Harvey is not standing on my computer in protest.
Vortex, I'm really glad you got the stain out. We need all the good news we can get.
hopefully, it won't dry a funky color. I tried to just rinse the stained part, but of course that didn't work.
Worked for me!Between advice and both Plei and Jilli telling me to get stuff or using it on my face? The last year has been my happiest with makeup and most successful with new purchases. It's been wonderful!
Vortex, glad your pants are saved. I know the feeling, both dread and eventual relief.
sometimes I feel like I need to be more bold with my makeup. I don't wear a lot generally (most days, it's moisturizer, eyeliner and powder and I'm done) Eyeshadows are dark and or muted. Maybe someone will help me with make up for the F2F.
Oh! While I remember - P-C, have you seen A Touch of Pink, by any chance? It's one of the DVDs I bought last night - haven't seen it yet, but it's our Jimi Mistry (a local lad) playing a gay Canadian of Indian extraction, whose Mum is trying to marry him off. You should send it to your mum! Let her sweat it out over the possibility that there will be No Grandchildren Evah.
Presuming that you are quite sure that you're All About Girls, and are not planning on waking up gay at any point, you could always try a stealth campaign to make her grateful for the fact that grandchildren are still a possibility at some point.
..of course, my plan rather hinges on her being homophobic/you reinforcing this in an 'at least I'm not gay' fashion. Which makes it a bit of a crap plan.
New hair: [link]
I'll have you know I paused and thanked a bountiful G-d before I clicked that link.
I've seen you with short hair before, but this cut makes you look younger. At least the way you've styled it there. It's kinda Mary Stuart Masterson tomboy ingenue.
I'll have to see the new styling to make a fully informed choice between beautifully sexy or sexily beautiful.
You'll need to put in a whole weekend playing with product, makeup, lighting and costumes and cameras, I think. It's the only way to take the sting out of this week. It's basically your civic duty to the Buffistas.
based solely on Fay's recommendation, I just put that movie on hold at my library. I will probably bring it home Tuesday.
Oh, Vortex, you were one of the doppleganger Buffistas at the Vampire Ball. In a great costume, I might add.
Also seen was Raq. Also in a fabulous ensemble with hair that was just lush beyond words.
JZ was wearing a cunning hat. But the outfit was only eh, so it couldn't have been JZ.
There were others but my brain is failing me right now.
