Ooh, one bright spot, though! I discovered that for 2007, they reduced the number of stock options given to new hires because they found out that they were giving too many per the market average. But I got in before that. Woo!
I'm still trying to figure out how all this stock and vesting stuff works. It sounds like it's all good and full of lots of money when I need to make large expenses. But taxes are confusing.
Nah, I just remember stuff that you had written either for grad school, or between grad school and this job -- and it was technical, scientific writing. And damned good. I wish all my authors wrote like you do.

David, since you're here, I have to say, I looked freaking adorable today.
In honor of the weather I had on this sleeveless, mid thigh dress with a pattern that wouldn't have been out of place on Laugh-In, except in sort of muted browns and pinks. And then my sandals were hurty so I was wearing my fabulous brown leather, flat soled knee boots with it, and a sort of Flinstonian gold pearl necklace, and my hair was all short and flippy (that's where you come in). Actually, not just the hair. You'd've dug the whole thing.
I'm already sorry you didn't take pictures of your super cute fab self, brenda. Next time keep the camera handy!
