Zoe: Uh huh. River, honey? He's putting the hair away now. River: It'll still be there... waiting.

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I always cry when that happens

I was close, but decided to be angry at the stupid coffee pot instead. So, I muttered under my breath at the coffee pot while I was cleaning it up. It was very soothing to be able to say whatever I wanted to the inanimate object.

Insult, meet Injury.

You're telling me!

Poor Ellie! I hope she feels better soon. And have fun with your parents!

Are there more picture of Jilli?

Not that I've seen yet.

Poptarts:

The glass part just blew up?

Oh, no. I have a thermal coffee pot. The machine part exploded--sending coffee grinds everywhere, and making it impossible for the coffee to brew.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Poor Ellie! I hope she's ok.

I love the Matilda pics, and six months seems like that went by pretty fast!

They're doing road work of some sort outside my window. I'd like to do bodily harm, as I slept very poorly last night. But at least I didn't have to clean up coffee stuff before coffee.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I hope Ellie gets well soon, Stephanie.

I'm sure none of my friends will believe me.

I believe you. (I've been in that bar.)

I was too lazy to make coffee this morning, so I opened a can of diet coke. Which was fine--I had cotton mouth from taking a flexeril last night for my back.

I should get moving. We need to get out and run some errands today. And I have a roast I need to get into the crock pot.

Our wings are not tired.

My former coffee pot did that thing. I don't know how often it happened before I tossed it. The basket would swing open and water and coffee grounds and mess would be where steaming hot yummy should have been awaiting me. Before I found my new beloved pot (coffee that is) I had a long twist tie holding it to keep it from swinging open on me. Because coffee mess all over the counter is no way to start the day.

This is the first time it's done it. I hope it doesn't become a pattern. It's quite a lovely (and was expensive...my parents got it for me for Christmas a couple years ago) pot. I hope it doesn't have to go to the trash.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The machine part exploded--sending coffee grinds everywhere, and making it impossible for the coffee to brew.

You're just lucky you weren't there when it happened, as you could have had coffee shrapnel embedded in your body. Or maybe that would have been a good thing....

No, my machine had a crap hinge on the basket. It lived on my counter far longer than it deserved.

Trust my rage

Thanks for the well-wishes, all. Ellie's upstairs sleeping and getting better, I hope.

I was thinking a lot about Sean as I was trying to get her medicine down her throat this morning, but thankfully, she can (sort of) be reasoned with.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Get better soon Ellie. Your mom needs a break from worrying.

Poor vw, cleaning before coffee is harsh.
