Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

Just got a good report from the ICU nurse. Health~ma passed along as needed.

All this stuff is making me determined to take better care of myself. Don't want my kids to have to deal with stuff I could prevent.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Laura, that's a relief!

Much ~ma to AmyLiz's mom.

We've had a productive day. Bought a bike trailer for the kids and a new, pink helmet for Olivia.

I realized I'm going to need to clean my patio and my patio furniture. Everything's filthy.

Bad, all the sick people! Bad! Get better! That cat, too!

I spent more money than Jesus yesterday, on a mattress, and pillows, and sheets, and so on. Goodness. (OK, I realize that Jesus was kinda po'. And so it wouldn't be hard to spend more money than him. But it feels like the right saying)

And today I moved around all my furniture so that I'll be able to fit the new bed into my room.

Unfortunately, the bathroom ceiling also started leaking again last night. Grrr. Called the landlord, and they said they'd call a plumber and all...but they haven't called back yet (it dripped all night, but seems to have stopped for the time being---but there's a big crack in the ceiling, it's not good). And in moving where the bed and bookshelves were, there seems to be...something weird going on wiht the baseboard in the bedroom (which is next to the bathroom). I'm suddenly glad I don't OWN this place, just rent.

However, I have had yummy dinners with fun friends both of the past two nights, and another one planned for tonight, so I shall eat drink and be merry, I say!

The Universe needs to BACK OFF MY BITCHES! Fuckin' March.

This month's been pretty good to me.

Clearly, y'all are caught in some kind of AU March.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Amyliz, health~ma to your mom.

Sean, how goes the cat medicating? Some better, I hope.

Our wings are not tired.

You people are not helping me avoid weeding. Also, weeding would be easier if I had less in the middle when bending.

This weekend's cupcake: Dr. Pepper. Cherry-chocolate cake with cherry cola buttercream and dried cherries on top. The dog had apple/oatmeal.

Man, I need to move.

Mostly lurking...

Oh, AmyLiz, love to you and much ~ma to your mom.

Oh, dear. I'm watching Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Someone should take away my tv; I just can't be trusted with it.

Skipping and skimming. Anyone care to act as fashion consultant? Look at three or four pictures and tell me if these are really classic styles that will stay in fashion a long time. (Well one is jeans and a t-shirt(bright colored solid) on a pretty girl, so never out of fashion) but I need an informed opinion on the rest. These are supposed to be eco-classics, because they won't be thrown out until they wear out.
