People I know who have the Razr have had a lot of problems with it. And I'm pretty sure you can't use it with Virgin, though you should be able to keep your number.

Just thought I'd add that while I love my Razr, my first one broke after three weeks. This one has been fine for many months though. Despite that, I'm totally getting an iPhone once they come out.
