Sparky, it is normally about four hours, after you get out of greater Atlanta. If you're flying into Atlanta, you shouldn't run into much traffic going south. Sometimes there's minor traffic around Macon, but after that, it's one of the more boring interstates in the country. Many, many pine trees. Very few cars. Not many exits.

Thanks, Ginger. I have a call in to the Big Publishing Company to see what they're willing to pay for -- unfortunately, a couple of years ago they stopped paying to fly one's spouse around the country (although they'll still feed & booze him).
