Owen's been singing about making pies all day and our pie store is closed. Feh. I'm craving PIE.

But...but. It's pie. It's simple to make. It's so simple to make they should have a saying that conveys that in a pithy manner...

I should have made pie on Pi day.

Thanks everybody for the Mal birthday wishes! I just got off the phone with his pede and she was also aghast that it's been TWO YEARS.

Sadly, Mal didn't have the awesomest birthday. He's got a bad phlegmy cold (but it sounds like he's in good company with that), and is utterly and completely exhausted after sailing to Santorini and back this weekend. We opened a couple presents, but he just couldn't take it, and is a Collapsaboo in his crib.

Congrats billytea! Biyi is drop-dead gorgeous! Great photos!

I'm back home and trying to catch up. My mom is much better, but I'm afraid her main response to her hospital stay is that she says she's never, ever going into the hospital again. She's got some new medications that might help some.

Ginger, glad to hear your mom is home and doing well as can be. I hope the medication helps a lot!
