Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Congratulations on the new computer, Hec and JZ. Good luck at least getting your old information off of the old computer.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

And if you get the old computer fixed, you can talk to each other on the board--in the same room!

What? It's fun. And an old Buffista tradition, whenever two or more of us are gathered, with wireless or laptop or text thingy.

sj, I'm really sorry, I have no advice. Because I'd just be all "I have SPOken" on those lackwits. My last nerve has been rubbed raw on the subject, and I'd like to hose them all down with a cold reality firehose.

It's more of the Physiology text that I can't really follow than the lackwits. If you hear chanting of four more weeks coming from MA, you'll know why.

Traditions are good.

When Lee and I were in Seattle there was only one laptop and we had to trade it back and forth to snark on each other. Soooo time consuming. Much better when you can snark simultaneously. Synchronized.

Okay, technically we could have just talked. But where's the tech thrill in that?

Hi, Cass!

I'm off to bed. Done with schoolwork for the night. One of these days I will learn to get it all done in the daylight hours so that I can get to bed the same time TCG does.

Sleep well, sj.

I am exhausted. Think I should maybe go to bed as well. Not quite sleepy yet.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I remember Aimee and Joe and Sean and ND around Anne's dining room table in Baltimore for the DC F2F, all four of them tapping away on laptops. And Lee's living room, with Nicole, Ellen, Lee and me all posting reviews of Serenity and describing Ozzie's latest nap in the bowl. Or Deb's front yard, with KateFate and Beth's DH and Brenda and I, and probably others I'm forgetting, checking in on the board. In between a baseball game and a museum trip. In a drizzle. Not to mention the various hospitality suites. It's so hilarious that we cross time and space to be in the same room together, and then break out the hardware to talk to each other--although it's as much to try and bring everybody else on the board along, too.

Wherever two or more are gathered, with laptop or text thingy...

I knew there was a reason I hadn't gone to bed yet. Thanks, Pete!

Can I be off the list yet?
