That's the thrill of living in the Hellmouth! There's a veritable cornucopia of fiends and devils and ghouls to engage ... Pardon me for finding the glass half-full.

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now tagless for your comfort.

As dear Brendon says, it was the longest one night stand of his life.

Laura, that's so sweet! DH often refers to our relationship as "the one night stand that lasted forever."

GC, Yay on making honest women of each other! At least that's how my grandmother referred to marriage.

Went to the comic shop to buy Buffy Season 8 and came home empty handed. They were sold out. I'm consoling myself with a Cadbury Dairy Milk bar.

edited because my grandma's been gone a long time. She was funny, though.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I was afraid you weren't going to make it to NY. very sorry.

however , we did over hear a man who was sure the airlines were pulling one over on him. He was supposed to fly out tonight to NY. flight canceled , late monday is the best they could do. He was sure they was some flight that no one wanted to take so there would be room for him. He seemed completely unable to understand that none of the planes were where they were supposed to be and that there were actual real people that had been stranded in airports. and there was another woman that butted in - trying to expalin to him that her husband had been trying to get somewhere for the last two days- and that the man should just enjoy the fact that he was in a nice place with 75-80 degree temperatures - and why worry about going to a work meeting in a cold, icy place.

however, last nights overheard converstaion was the best. As I said we were in wine counry and at a very nice restaurant. One woman:

I am a semi-precious girl. I prefer garnets to rubies; Zinfandels to Merlots; and Sandgioveses to Cabernet's.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I'm browsing Worth dress collections and I'm wondering what Jilli could do with this or this or this.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Went to the comic shop to buy Buffy Season 8 and came home empty handed. They were sold out. I'm consoling myself with a Cadbury Dairy Milk bar.

Let me know if you want me to send you a copy. My comicbook store had a lot of them.

I put my name on an order. Girl said they'd be in next Wednesday. I need to start a standing order, anyway. But thanks, sj!

Because books.

My store (well, in that it will be mine, I guess, I've never been there before) said they were out but were getting more next week, too, and put me down for a copy and said they'd call me.

Now tagless for your comfort.

We've got a good half dozen stores in the area, I could call and see if someone else has it. I was just lazy and went to the one closest.
