The more dates you have to celebrate each year the better.
TOTALLY! We celebrate the Kissaversary as well as the Elopement Day. It's nice to have 2 times a year (May and October) that we are really motivated to do something special.
My sincere wish is that you are able to have a more worthy wedding day a whole lot sooner than 12 years from now. Having been married 3 times it upsets me more than I can express that everyone isn't allowed to express their love and commitment this way.
Also totally.
I did go home, and Tom and I were safely tucked in at home by 2pm, and when the snow really started coming down. SO HAPPY I went home. My decision was made much easier when my friend emailed me suggesting we postpone till next week.
I have to write a paper today. Sigh.
blushes at Cindy-compliments
Cindy, no need to feel self-conscious. I'll be happy to help next time haircut-time rolls around. Also, excellent work on getting a nasty amount of shoveling done for a very low price!
I have to write a paper today. Sigh.
I should do that today too. But, part of me feels like procrastinating, 'cause I have next week off for Spring Break. But, I know it's gonna get busy, so I should do work today anways.
But, it's a good inside baking day, so maybe I'll just bake.
There might be something to this nagging.
Woo! Must try this method. Right now the boys need ass kicking. DH is working hard, as usual, but the list of stuff that needs to be done requires that the boys get busy. My sister is visiting from NY and I need to clear a path in the house. Hope to head over to see her in the morning.
We have a delightful parade here. We should be able to ride our bikes over to my office which is just a block from the parade route. That is my only request for my anniversary this year. The last couple years one thing or another conspired to keep me from the dorky city parade. Weather dude says it will only be in the low 70s, but not a cloud in sight so sunburns all round I imagine.
Kissaversary! An excellent day to celebrate.
I'm talking to my friend, V, in IM, and she made me list 20 things about this week to celebrate. 20 THINGS! Craziness. I came up with them, though. It's kinda fun...especially to see that there are that many things still good, even when parts of the week were rough.
I have written my first paragraph! Whooo! Hey- quick question- does anyone with mad editing skilz and perhaps an interest in gender and/or higher education have any interest in taking a look at this paper when it's done? My usual second (and third) sets of eyes are busy tending to life stuff, and I don't want to bother them... the paper will only be 5 pages (double spaced), and my hope is to have completed a rough draft by tonight and work on any edits and polishing tomorrow...
Happy Anniversary, Laura and Brendan! Yay for seventeen years!
I've been LibraryThinging all morning. It's very addictive.
Nora, I'd be happy to help.
Nora, I'd love to take a look at it too (although, I'm more about concept editing than the more nit-picky stuff).
great! now... off to write the damn thing...!
