Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

That last one is definitely NOT me. Because those mini hair-clip thingies make excellent nipple clamps.

Er. So I hear.

ION, can't sleep; clown will eat me.

I'm not going to make people guess this one; I'm just posting b/c it always makes me giggle when I read it (this is one whole "quote," not 4 separate ones):

msbelle: I CAN'T FIND MY CELLPHONE! It's been almost 24 hours since I remember seeing it! ACK!

Daniel: Call it.

Betsy: Heads.

Polter-Cow: Who do you think you are, Betsy, Rosencrantz?

And since I'm going to bed, I'll answer the other two: #2 was Ginger, and #3 was Jilli.

Night!

I knew it was Jilli. I remember the post. Darn it. Good morning, Buffitas.

Cashmere, I'm so so sorry you went out, only to have those stupid places closed. I wouldn't have gone to a big ER at night, either. I feel badly we nagged you into it.

So I stopped by CVS for calamine lotion and some benedryl. I'll call the answering service tomorrow morning and see if I can't get speak to the on call doc and get a script called in.

Yeah, don't take no for an answer from the service people.

Do you have any sedatives? I seem to recall my mother saying her doctor told her to take her Ativan (which she usually takes only if she gets really upset -- so that her b.p. won't spike) when she had Shingles, because the Ativan acts on the nerve endings.

Oh, Cashmere, poor you! I hope you get through to the doc today. And, if not, the urgent care should have Saturday hours.

This is really good advice. Ask for it. Even just a couple of pills to get you through. It's not very expensive, because there's generic.

{{{Ginger}}} You have e-mail. I'm so sorry about this, and I'm furious at the ER for not catching this. Also, sorry I was so out of it when talking to you yesterday.

Morning, Bitches!

I don't know if I'd ask for it, if I wasn't dealing with my own doctor who knows me. I just meant to take one, if you already have some. You don't want a covering doctor who doesn't know you to think you're a med-seeker.

I know. And it's not like it is a weird diagnosis for a person in her 80s who is having breathing problems.

Very true. I was thinking she would talk to her own doctor. I'm slow this morning. You'd think I'd remember how long it took me to get an Ativan my first day in the hospital, because they had to call my regular shrink to make sure I didn't have an addiction. So frustrating.

Our wings are not tired.

It was too late when I got here last night for me to post. But I read and sent healing vibes to Ginger's mom and Cashmere before going to bed. I hope that things look better this morning.

I'm at my parent's place. I think Bobby and his grandfather are going to some races in Punta Gorda tonight so I'll be here until tomorrow morning now. An extra weekend day would be handy, but instead I get robbed an hour. Not nice.

DH and Brendon stayed home to go to a Heat game. DH is fishing this morning with friends, so maybe nice fish dinner tomorrow!

Mom serves decaf. It is not the same.
